Introduction - Blog Journal 1
In an educational setting, I've used technology mostly for projects. I've used Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I've created a lot of PowerPoints for presentations of books, theories, and overall information from the class. I had to present an analysis of a book over Zoom a couple of semesters ago because of Covid-19. I had to screen-share the PowerPoint while on Zoom, and present to the class this way. Covid-19 has made technology more important now than it has ever been before.
My personal learning network (PLN) is learning how to cook and bake more. Online I like to use Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook for new recipes, as well as tips and tricks for cooking in general. Offline I use my friends and family to develop my PLN. They try my cooking and give me tips on how to make my food taste better, or even look better because presentation can matter with food. Having online resources has been very helpful because it's much easier to use the internet than having to buy cookbooks just for a few recipes.
It is so kind of you and your family to rescue animals. And 50 plants, WOW. I really like the photos you shared with the puppies. They're very cute! My ambition is to visit every state in the United States. Every city and state has its own distinct culture, history, cuisine, and attractions. Since 2016, I've visited California, Nevada, Montana, Utah, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, New York, New Jersey, and Washington, DC. While I'm typing the name of the state, I am recalling all the happy memories. Sadly, I haven't traveled since the pandemic. I'm hoping it will be over soon so we can go wherever we want!
ReplyDeleteHi Naomi!! I just want to say that I love your blog and the inclusion of the pictures was awesome!!! I have a rescue dog who is a Pitbull mix named Roxy. I think it is so cool that you want to travel to all 50 States. My favorites include New York and Virginia! I loved learning the different animals you have and would love to see a picture of the hedgehog.
ReplyDeleteHi Naomi! That is so cool that you have to London, I have always wanted to go there and possibly do a semester there. I also love that you rescue animals, I hope to rescue a dog or cat from the shelter this year.
