     Copyright is legal protection for an author/creator to say how their work can be used. Copyright law is meant to promote knowledge. This protects works such as, movies, songs, books, and many more. Copyright owners have the right to reproduce, adapt, distribute, perform, and display the work that they own. Fair use was created to allow copyrighted work to be used without permission, or payment, if the work is being used for specific reasons. Some reasons include: nonprofit education purposes, criticism, parodies, teaching, and more. I would deal with these concepts as a teacher by making sure I am checking sources I am using for material for anything that is copyrighted. When dealing with these concepts with students, I would make sure that my students understand what copyright and fair use are, and that they understand how to find materials for their own works.

    Academic dishonesty has become a large issue with technology advancing and it being used in school more. To prevent academic dishonesty I would use sites that check to see if students are plagiarizing, and I would make sure that I teach students how to properly cite sources before requiring them to use sources. Lack of funding is another technology implementation issue. Technology is becoming more advanced, and it is being more widely used in schools. Schools that have a lack of funding have less access to technology such as laptops, desktop computers, projectors, and other types of educational technology. Students and teachers may struggle to teach and learn as efficiently as students and teachers in schools that receive the correct amount of funding.

    I learned a lot of new skills while working on the Newsletter Assignment. I learned how to use the column function, shapes, word art, and shading. I could improve my newsletter by learning the functions more so that I can complete a newsletter in an effective amount of time, and I can also learn new functions in order to make my newsletter look more appealing - and maybe be able to add more information to two pages if I need to. The skills I learned from this assignment can be used in my future career by allowing me to be able to create newsletters, and I can use these new functions I learned to create assignments and instructional material.
